19th Annual Rotary Ride for the Community

This year the ride will be held the first weekend of June. 

This is the ride previously known as the "Ride for Literacy".

Choose a recreational bicycle ride of 10, 21 or 43 miles or combine two routes for a metric century through Lancaster County farmland. Water/rest stops, fully marked route, cue sheets, SAG support, snacks and lunch are included with your registration fee. Proceeds benefit Rotary Club of Lancaster Sunrise and District 7390 Rotary Passport Club’s community and global projects.  Registration is open between 7 am and 9 am. All riders must start by 9 am. Metric Century riders must start by 8 am. Event held rain or shine and helmets are required.

Event details and schedule

Registration opens at 7 am and closes at 9 am.

Riders are required to start no later than 9 am.

Metric Century riders must start by 8 am.

The ride and support ends promptly at 2 pm.

Parking is provided at the park (start of ride).

Course is fully marked. Cue sheets and SAG support are provided.

Rest / Water stops are available along the routes.

Helmets are required.

Lunch and snacks are provided to riders at the start and end of the ride.

Early bird registration ends April 15, 2023

Pre registration ends May 31, 2023

Tech Shirt sales end May 8, 2023

Day of Registration is $40

Directions to the start of the ride:

From Rt 30 (east or west) take Rt 501 (Lititz Pike) north towards Neffsville. Turn Left on Petersburg Rd. The Manheim Township Community Park will be on the right about ½ mile east of Rt 501.
