Event Description

Deer Dash 5K** is a chip-timed 5K race through the beautiful Summerfield neighborhood of Lake Linganore starting and finishing at Deer Crossing Elementary school. The 1-mile Fun Run is a non-timed event that takes place on the recess grounds of Deer Crossing Elementary, behind the school. Produced by the Deer Crossing Elementary PTA, this event is an annual event loved by all that brings our community together around healthy habits and movement and raises money for school improvements and programs that support the staff and children at DCES. Please join us this year and make it a STELLAR event. 

**NEW this year is a wheelchair friendly course that takes place on the Summerfield streets only. Please note there are steady inclines and declines throughout **. We reviewed the course and were told that we cannot claim it as "adaptive" and not wheelchair accessible due to its grade and not being ADA approved.
