Event Description
WHITE, GA – Ride to Rescue is a 100k, 50k, bike ride with a 12k fun ride and 1-mile dog walk in beautiful White, GA. The bike ride is fab ride through hilly scenic backroads on the new routes for 2023.
All RTR events are for the dogs! Well, throw in a few cats and then there's the hoofed kind too. All proceeds -yep! All of it goes to our participating charities, Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue, Road Trip Home, and Trinity Horse Rescue and Rehab. See their stories on our website.
Event activities include food, music, vendors, brew, wine tasting, swap shop, dog derby and half time show. Dogs are welcome at the event.
Event details and schedule
Location: 132 Boseman Rd, White, GA 30184
Date and Time: 3/18/2023, Day of registration available. The ride starts at 0900. Follow the signs to the parking
Routes: All routes are clearly marked
Entertainment and Food: Non-Alcoholic beverages and microbrewery beer will be available all riders. Bring a valid ID for beer consumption. A hot meal is provided to all riders, and the rest stops will be well-stocked with a recovery drink, water, and tasty treats.
Cyclists: Beginner/weekend warrior: 12k fun ride (You can do multiple laps for additional mileage), Intermediate: 50K (31 miles) Half metric century ride, Advanced: 100K (62 miles) Metric century ride
Start Times: 7:00 am Drive-thru Packet Pick-up - 9 am Group Start - All bike rides -
Parking: Parking is available on-site. Follow the signs. Please park in the designated area only.
Route: Routes will be marked on the pavement. The route crosses local crossroads. Abide by all road safety rules; helmets are required.
Rest Stops: Rest stops will be clearly marked and well stocked
SAG Support: This is a supported ride. SAG vehicles will be on the routes.
Riders Tent: Located at the venue entrance. Beer, food, half-time show, raffle, live music, and vendors on site.
Bike Shop Support Tent: Bike mechanic on-site.
ALL ENTRY FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
CHILDREN UNDER 12 RIDE FREE. ALL MINORS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT
Registration is open through March 13th
T-shirts are not guaranteed after March 6th registration (Applies to Bike Ride Entrants Only).
E-bikes are welcome.
