Event Description

Cascades Cycling Club is proud to present a bicycle tour that showcases south central Michigan’s rural roads, summer scenery, its wine country and delicious, locally sourced food.

The 10th annual Pedal & Whine Bike Tour will be held on Saturday, August 5th, at Sandhill Crane Vineyards. Join us for this popular, fully supported ride that has grown significantly since our first event in 2013.  Enjoy bicycling along the scenic, lightly travelled roads of eastern Jackson county and the Waterloo Recreation area.  With routes of 11-18, 29, 31, 53 and 68 miles, cyclists can choose to ride as much or as little as they like. This year riders also have the option of selecting a recently opened segment of the Mike Levine Lakelands trail as part of their route.  For cyclists who wish to ride mainly on the Mike Levine Lakelands trail, a new route has been added that puts riders on the trail in less than 5 miles. Riders can continue to Stockbridge and return making this a 29 mile route, or turn around sooner for a shorter ride. All routes are fully supported by roving "SAG" vehicles on the road or “SAG” cyclists on the trail, so participants can ride worry free.

To ensure everyone’s safety, we have a 300 rider limit.
