The Mammoth Bar Enduro

Mammoth Bar OHV, Auburn CA

May 7th, 2023

This course will use trails in the Auburn SRA and Mammoth Bar OHV. Racers will enjoy a variety of singletrack, flow course, steep, rocky & technical ranging from Blue to Double Black Diamond.

Pro and Expert categories will be racing 4 stages.

Sport and Beginner categories will be racing a total of 4 stages.

Transfers will include a combination fire road and singletrack.

Racers can expect single track, flow trail, steep, loose, rocky, challenging, technical terrain – consisting of Blue, Black and Double-Black terrain.

 

The Mammoth Bar Enduro is not sanctioned by UCI/USA Cycling. Competitors will not require a UCI or USA Cycling license to compete; nor will be they be covered by their UCI or USA Cycling insurance (if applicable) during training and competition. 

Course Maps and Descriptions Released June 10th. 

Course Inspection: Friday June 14, 2019 – 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Packet Pickup: 

The HUB Bicycles - Friday June 14, 2019 - 4:00pm-7:00pm

Mammoth Bar OHV - Saturday June 15, 2019 – 7:00 am – 8:00 am

Race Day: Saturday June 15, 2019.

- Riders meeting at race start 7:45 am

Directions to Mammoth BAR OHV: The entrance is located on Old Foresthill Road. The easiest access is off of I-80 north of Auburn. Take the Foresthill exit off I-80 and go east about 2.5 miles to Old Foresthill Road. Turn right on Old Foresthill Road and the entrance is about 1.5 miles on the left.

Timing

We are using the CES Timing System. This is an active chip timing system - you’ll be assigned your timing chip at packet pickup.

Entry Fee - $110

Race License

The Mammoth Bar Enduro is not sanctioned by UCI/USA Cycling. Competitors will not require a UCI or USA Cycling license to compete; nor will be they be covered by their UCI or USA Cycling insurance (if applicable) during training and competition.

Course

This course will use trails in the Auburn SRA and Mammoth Bar OHV. Racers will enjoy a variety of singletrack, flow course, steep, rocky & technical ranging from Blue to Double Black Diamond. There will be 4 Special Stages totaling 5 miles and 11 miles of transfer with 3,100 feet of climbing.

Racers can expect single track, flow trail, steep, loose, rocky, challenging, technical terrain – with Blue, Black and Double-Black terrain. Transfers will include a combination fire road and singletrack. Racers can expect long day on the bike with long transfer climbs and long stages with technical sections and pedaling sections.

Shuttles

During the official course inspection, the transport of riders between Special Stages by private/team transport (shuttling) is strictly limited to paved roads. A rider found using a private or team vehicle on a closed/private/dirt road or track will be disqualified. During the race, no private/team transport can be used at any time.

Awards

Awards at the finish immediately following the race on Saturday. Top 5 from each category need to be in attendance to receive their money/plaque or medal.

Refund Policy

TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A Refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. All events are held rain or shine.
