Event Description

Join the 11th SOIS IDEA Committee and The Hurlburt African American Cultural Society (AACS) for the Fight to Fit 5K run/walk, Tuesday February 28th, 2023 at Hurlburt Field –Aderholt Fitness Center. The event will highlight health disparities affecting the African American community and educate all members on how to improve health and wellness and how to be an effective ally.

Who can race?  We welcome all skill levels of walkers, joggers, and runners. The first 100 members to check in will receive free IDEA 5K T-Shirt! 

Registration opens at 7:00am

Top 3 winners in the male and female categories will receive an award. Award presentation will take place at approximately 9:15 AM
