Event Description

This triathlon is held the 2nd Saturday of each May and includes a 3 mile run, a 15 mile road bike ride, and ends with a 6 mile canoe/kayak trip downriver. Participants can complete the race either solo, with a partner (canoe together), or even as a relay splitting up the race portions.

The race starts at noon with a 3 mile run, followed by a 15 mile paved bicycle ride, and a 6 mile canoe or kayak trek downriver.  It starts and ends at Flater's Resort.  The bicycle portion begins at Old Bogie's on Chippewa Avenue, and the canoe/kayak leg begins at River's Edge Resort on County Rd E 6 miles north of Flater's upriver on the Flambeau.  Be sure to arrive early to allow time for parking, bib and t-shirt issue, and crowds.

The race fee is $40 per person. Participants receive t-shirts, food, beverages, and entertainment following the race. The race is also professionally timed. Registration links can also be found on Flater's Resort website.
