Event Description

This is the 1st Annual Race for Grace Run/Walk 5K Fundraiser.  We are so thankful for all our sponsors and participants!

Grace Fulcher was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2015. After a three-year battle, she passed away on October 24, 2018.  Despite her everyday challenges, treatments and chemotherapy, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Niceville High school in May of 2017.  She also played second-string violin with the Sinfonia Gulf Coast Youth Orchestra for over two years. Grace was not able to fulfill her dreams so in her honor we created a scholarship in her name with the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation (CBTF) to help other brain tumor survivors reach their educational goals and with Sinfonia Gulf Coast Youth Orchestra to help other young musicians to reach theirs. On April 29, 2023, we are hosting the first Race for Grace 5K to raise funds to support the scholarships in Grace’s name and hope you will consider supporting this local, community event.  To date, we have given over $20,000 in scholarships. 

So get ready for the 1st Annual Race for Grace Run/Walk Fundraiser in Ft. Walton Beach Florida! 

Event details and schedule

Race start and end is at the Landing Park on Brooks Street. The course is out and back with 1 aid station on the course.  This is a rain-or-shine event. 

Registration includes T-shirt and after-party snacks. Awards for Runners: Overall Male and Female

Awards for Walkers: Top 3 Overall Male and Female.

Plus a cool t-shirt included with registration, and snacks to celebrate your accomplishment
