Join us as we kick off Oktoberfest in Downtown Dunedin on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at HOB Brewing Company, 931 Huntley Avenue, Dunedin, FL 34698. The run begins at 9 a.m.

This SELL OUT event is an awesome run/walk with electronically timed distance and is open to all ages and levels of ability. We also welcome families so we are both kid and dog friendly.

There is NO VENUE as amazing as HOB Brewing Company in downtown Dunedin so if you haven't been here yet you're in for a VERY pleasant surprise. These are our most successful runs of the year in both size and fundraising for the teens we support through Finish Lines For Scholarships 501c3 so register early and save www.727CanRace.com

An email will be sent to ALL registrant the day before the race before 2 pm which will include your bib number assignment along with your waiver to participate for you to print and bring with you on event morning. For those travelling or without a printer we will have waivers on site but bringing it with you moves check in much more quickly. Occasionally we have a few bad email address so if you don’t receive the final email the day before the race please email XanaduRaceManagement@gmail.com and we’ll get it to you. Sometimes when you register multiple people only one person gets the Active.com confirmation but ALL registrants will need the email from Suzanne the day before the run.

Parking is encourage in downtown Dunedin at the artisan Artisan parking garage at 356 Monroe Street, Dunedin, FL 34698 then walk toward the venue using the Pinellas Trail.

Check in is RACE MORNING ONLY and it is safe and touch FREE. Each registrants will receive one dry fit promotional run shirt and one awesome event theme’
d finisher’s medal, as well as a free beer armband that can be redeemed after your run at HOB Brewing Co. Plan to arrive within one hour of race start then you will go directly to the table of your assigned bib number.

We will have a bag check zone if you don’t want to go back to your car. This is a family environment with a great kids play zone.

We will have a table at the finish line shoot for first 15 male and first 15 female 5K finishers so be sure to grab one if they are still there when you finish your distance. Fit2Time will be scoring the race but results ARE purposely not posted at the venue so we can maintain our light hearted group of non-competitive runners and walkers. You can find your finish time in overall results later in the afternoon at www.727CanRace.com We also bring additional top finisher’s frames for seniors and our younger runners so if you had an exceptional day (any age) let Suzanne know at the microphone and we’ll award you for your performance! Age group awards slow down the day and we have used this method the last 7 years and it works out BEAUTIFULLY for the laid back group of runners we attract. We are the number once search for travelers looking for a local 5K as we limit our runs to 400 participants so let us know when you arrive which state or country you have travelled from. About 70% of our participants are from out of town and WE LOVE TO HAVE ALL OF YOU!

After the post race party we encourage you to walk downtown to see exactly what all the rave is about Dunedin, Florida from our shops, restaurants, 13 breweries, and amazing marina district. Dunedin is also home to the famous Honeymoon Island State Park so make a day of it if you can. Thanks for joining us and we look forward to seeing you race morning!
