Event Description

The Jefferson Forest High School and Forest Middle School band program is designed to empower individuals through music. Music education has changed the lives of hundreds of  students over the many years they have existed.  A program like this takes a lot of work and support. The Jefferson Forest Band Booster parents are committed to supporting, encouraging and growing the musical abilities of all students. Therefore, the JFBB invites everyone to support music for the long run. Work off those holiday pounds and raise money for the band programs at the same time.

The middle school band is raising money for new concert uniforms and a new set of chimes. A cost totaling over $10,000. 

The high school band needs to replace and upgrade a lot of instruments that have been in constant use for the past 25-30 years.

2 Selmer Paris Series III Model 64 tenor saxophones @ $8000/ea
Fox Model 800 English horn @ $8000
4 Yamaha 621 Bass Clarinets @ $9000/ea
Ludwig Concert Toms (drums) @ $1650

Plus a new band truck at some point!

Run or walk wherever and whenever you would like between Sunday March 26 - April 1, 2023. You can do it outside, inside, walk it, sprint it, or even cartwheel it,  just make it fun and be sure to invite your friends and family.
