BIRCHWOOD 5k RUN/1-MILE WALK and SEEDLINGS & SPROUTS SHUFFLE

Join us for the Birchwood School of Hawken School 5k! Open to all ages and abilities.
Event Address: South Mastick Picnic Area (Fairview Park)

Our mission is to equip children to lead a life of becoming – growing, thriving and  flourishing, through the development of intellect and character. For nearly four decades, Birchwood School of Hawken has consistently received regional and national attention for its rigorous academics and character education. This family event is an opportunity for our community to get together and promote healthy living.

Proceeds from the Birchwood 5k will benefit the Birchwood Fund, which supports the general operations of the school including educational materials, student scholarships, Signature Programs, and more. In the past, the event hosted approximately 130-150  participants represented by current Birchwood families, staff, and friends from local running communities.

What each registrant will receive:
Official Birchwood School of Hawken 5k T-shirt (register by April 21, 2023 to ensure your shirt size)
Finish line goodies
Chance at prizes and awards
And a great time!

Race Day Timeline:
Race day registration - 8:00 AM
400 Meter Seedlings & Sprouts Kids Run - 8:45 AM
5k Run/1-mile Walk (simultaneous - registrant may choose whichever event they would like) - 9:00 AM

Top Male and Female Overall and awards for male and female age groups 9 & under, 10 - 14, 15 - 18, 19 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 & over
