Event Description

This spring event takes place in late-May a few miles northwest of Duluth, Minnesota. Both the 10K and Half Marathon courses travel around Pike Lake and feature rolling hills and scenic views. As a well-executed event with a low key atmosphere, the event makes a great choice for those new to either the 10K or half marathon distance. Additionally, the event is positioned well in the training block for runners preparing for Grandma’s Marathon events. 

New this year, we have a significantly improved start/finish area that is just feet away from the recently completed event center at Pike Lake Golf and Beach Club where we’ll host an amazing post race party.  Be sure to purchase tickets for yourself and your family for the post event breakfast plate. A cash bar will also be available to grab a drink or a bloody post race with your friends or any new running buddies you meet out on the course.
