Event Description

During the month of February signup will only be for those who wish to receive notification/updates as all of the pieces come together. This is NOT signup for ride entry/reservation at this time. Our total number of spots available will be limited. Available slots will be open to all Club Spinistry members at the same time. Once all spots are reserved we will open a waitlist.

As we receive notification about reserved riders unable to attend we will make those slots available to waitlist riders in order of signup. Please note that the waitlist process is the only transfer process accepted. Riders can NOT transfer their registration to another rider themselves. Slots are NOT available for sale from anyone. This is a club ride only open to Club Spinistry members with up to date membership on ride days. Approved forest/hut access will only allow for a specific number of riders so we are unable to allow guests/tag alongs who are not current club members. Everyone who joins us must complete approved waivers to not risk trespass issues.

This is considered a true back country/self supported adventure. We are providing a suggested route and the opportunity to ride with other like minded people at the same time. We will not be in a position to assists/retrieve stranded , injured or lost riders. We highly recommend the use of satellite trackers/SOS beacons. We will provide a group locator page for "dot watchers" to utilize.

The recommended bike setup would be similar to Tour Divide type bikes but it can be completed on a true gravel bike with more hike a bike than a bike with 2"+ tires would encounter. Make no mistake, all riders will come across hike a bike sections. Additional route/weekend details will be forwarded to those who signup for the notification list. Notification list signups will also get first alert for when signup does open.
