The YaraStar Foundation is turning ONE! To celebrate this milestone, join us for our Inaugural Virtual 5K Run during the month of April 2023, i.e. April 1st – 30th, 2023. Walking/running plays a major role in the physical development of children with special needs and hence we thought, how fitting for an anniversary celebration! You can choose to walk or run to complete the event at your own convenience throughout April 2023.

About YaraStar Foundation
The YaraStar Foundation was formed in honor of Yara’s life and legacy; a spunky 3.5-year old with Down Syndrome who suddenly passed in April 2018. The mission of the Foundation is to bring hope, healing, and help to children in need within our societies. One of the ways we do this is by supporting access to specialized programs for children with special needs and providing scholarships to disadvantaged children, giving them an opportunity to thrive beyond worldly expectations. What you will receive
All participants will receive an awesome 3-inch YaraStar Foundation Medal and DryBlend T-shirt. Your registration also includes a leaderboard on which you can track the times and performance of other participants. That’s a great opportunity for you to run multiple times and then post your best time.
Medals & T-shirts will begin shipping from April 15th 2023, for all registrations by March 25th 2023. Register by March 25th to guarantee t-shirt size.
An additional 3 - 4 week delay in production and shipping may be experienced for all registrations after March 25th 2023. T-shirt sizes may NOT be guaranteed.
To post your finish time, open the Results tab and click on Select Virtual Results. All finish times must be posted by midnight (CST) April 30th 2023.
