The Tinsel is a Sunday Triathlon run on a usually sunny, yet crisp, Southern California day with all roads closed and the coffee hot. The 5K run takes place in a scenic, calm area of West Hemet, California in Riverside County. Known as a "flat & fast" course, the 12 mile bike ride has the triathlete cycling down the Domenigoni Parkway which showcases the beautiful San Jacinto Mountains from the East side. The race ends in the 50 meter heated pool at West Valley High, triathletes will swim 150 meters (up & back 3 times) to the finish line where you receive a unique Tinsel finisher medal. The awards ceremony follows immediately and the bling is top shelf!
