Event Description

Military Members and veterans are coming together with their supporters to raise money for a small town legion hall vital to community events for the area. On Easter weekend, Saturday the 8th of April, the Legion Restoration Project will be hosting a "Stuff the Ruck" event where locals of the Nebraska Panhandle are invited to the street to make donations.

The Legion 5K is an additional event created for those supporters that would like to contribute physically. Legion 5K participants will complete their 5K alongside these volunteers or complete the 5K on their own. 

We are calling this a virtual 5K due to the fact that you can complete the 5K at any time or in any location, as long as you submit proof that you have completed your 5K. The reason for this is because there are other supporters and military members across the nation that want to participate as well. Instructions on how this works will be mailed or emailed to you upon your signup into the event. If you choose to do this virtually, you will have a one-month window of time to complete it (from April 8th to May 8th).
