Event Description

Join the Pleasant Valley High School Music Boosters for the1st annual Band On The Run - a scenic run/walk/march through Lower Bidwell Park. Funds received from this annual event will support the students in the Pleasant Valley High School Band, Choir and Color Guard. Come and be a part of the fun while the band serenades you through a great 5K experience!

Packet Pick-up: May 6th at Fleet Feet from 12-5 and Race morning at the race. Virtual participant packets will be mailed.

Swag, Awards and Event Shirts
5k Participants will receive an event T-shirt, post-race snack and water, and a chip-timed runner's bib number. Kid's kazoos will be handed out on the day of the race before the run.  Trophies will be awarded to the first place male and female overall finisher in the 5K.

There will be a special 1-mile team competition that will be held between various high school sports teams and clubs for bragging rights.  This competition will be scored cross-country style.  Each group can field a team of up to 5 runners with the top 3 runners for each team/club/organization scoring points.  Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams.  T-shirts are not included in registration for this event due to the low cost of entry but can be purchased when you register.

Runners must be registered by April 23rd to guarantee a t-shirt
