Event Description

Nerf games and shooting gallery (5 week program) 

This program is designed to teach kids and teens leadership skills, individually and in a group setting. Using Nerf guns and equipment with a focus of working together as a team to achieve a common goals. 
Our Nerf instructors will lead the participants through a series of weekly shooting gallery style skill shooting challenges to perfect their shooting skills and build their confidence for the team Nerf games. Participants will be shown how to play each game and our instructors will be there to monitor and score the games according to the rules agreed upon in the beginning. 

Description and 5 week program outline. 

Program runs every Thursday for 5 weeks.     

-4:30-6:00pm ages 6-9

-6pm-7:30pm ages 10-14


Program Dates: 

-Thursday March 23rd,

-Thursday March 30th,

-Thursday April 6th,

-Thursday April 13th,

-Thursday April 20th.

All Players will be given safety glasses, Nerf equipment and supplies to participate. NO OUTSIDE OR MODIFIED NERF EQUIPMENT WILL BE PERMITTED TO USE IN THE PROGRAM. 

Games:

-Six shooter:

        Each player get six darts only. There is a timer set and at the end of the five minutes each team gets points for the number of players left in the game.

-Capture the flag:

        Each team has a flag placed on their home turf. Players must make their way to the opposite side to steal the opposing teams flag and bring it back successfully to their side without getting shot. The team that can bring the opposite teams flag to their side first is the winning team. If both teams get opposing flags on their home turf, the team that did it first is the team that will win. 

-Every man for themselves:

      Every player gets the same amount of darts to start and are permitted to reload whenever they need to by using ammunition found on the ground only. The last player standing is the player who wins. 

-Shooting Gallery: Players will get a chance to perfect their accuracy and individually score points by shooting at a variety of targets.

5 Week Program Structure: 

Week 1: 

-Introduction & Safety: 

    -Overview of Nerf gun rules and safety information. 
-Instruction on Reloading: How to reload and use ammo safely

-Instructions on cover strategies, Players will be given insight on how to duck and cover in order to survive longer on the playing field. 
-Shooting Gallery: Players will get to practice their aim and precision by shooting at a variety of targets. 

Week 2: 

-Shooting Gallery: players will get to practice their aiming and precision by shooting at a variety of targets. 

-Instruction on Cover Strategies: Players will be taught how to work as a team to protect one another while shooting.

-Six shooter:

-Shooting Gallery: Players will get to practice their aim and precision by shooting at a variety of targets. 

-Instruction on Teamwork: Players will be taught about working together to succeed in team games.

-Shooting Gallery: players will get to practice their aiming and precision by shooting at a variety of targets. 

Instructions on one on one survival: Players will be taught how to skillfully advance into enemy fire without being taken out of the game. 

-Every man for themselves:

      Every player gets the same amount of darts to start and are permitted to reload whenever they need to by using ammunition found on the ground only. The last player standing is the player who wins. 

Week 5:

-Shooting Gallery: players will get to practice their aiming and precision by shooting at targets. 

-Instruction on Teamwork: Players will be taught more advanced techniques about working together to succeed in team games.

-Capture the flag:

Players must make their way to the opposite side to steal the opposing teams flag and bring it back successfully to their side without getting shot.
