Event Description

Join us on Saturday, July 8, 2023, for the exciting return of the 15th Annual LG Tri, a sprint triathlon in the beautiful and spacious Vail Valley town of Gypsum, Colorado! We will also be hosting the 11th annual Kids Tri, so bring the whole family! We're excited to collaborate with Siena at Brightwater in Gypsum, CO neighborhood - just down the street from Eagle County Airport, as well as a short drive from the world-class mountains of Vail and Beaver Creek. This is a great race for first-timers and seasoned pros alike.

Adult Course Details:The course begins at 7am and features a 500-yard open water swim, a 12-mile bike ride up and down Valley Road, and a 5K run within the Siena at Brightwater development. Adults can race as individuals or form a team.

Kids Course Details: Scheduled to begin at 10am, the kids course is divided into the three age groups below. Please arrive early as parking may be difficult due to the adult portion of the LG Tri event that starts at 7am.

*6 to 7 year olds - 25-yard open water swim (equivalent to 1 pool length), a 1-mile bike ride, and a 1/2-mile run.

*8 to 10 year olds - 50-yard open water swim (equivalent to 2 pool lengths), 3.2-mile bike ride, and a 3/4-mile run.

*11 to 13 year olds - 100-yard open water swim (equivalent to 4 pool lengths), 5-mile bike ride, and a 1-mile run.

Registration prices for all categories will increase on May 2nd and July 4th.

Online registration closes at 9am on July 6th.

Transition area opens at 6:00 am on race day, so arrive early to get your spot. Race begins at 7:00 am with the LGTri Kids event starting at 10:00 am.
