Fall 2023 Trail Run Class is brought to you by Triangle Run Smart Training, presented by Pace Yourself Run Company and The Running PTs.
The class is 12 weeks long and is geared toward helping adults train for a trail race or just learn to run on the trails: be it their first or as a veteran runner looking to improve their race time. All levels and paces are welcome! NOTE: we will be running on single track trails, which have lots of roots & rocks. There are additional risks of injury in running on trails, so be very cautious starting out. The trails will require some navigation as well. The coach will provide maps ahead of time and try to keep everyone on track. Plan to run with a GPS watch and phone for navigation & safety.
The class will include a detailed weekly plan over the 12 weeks, with 2 coached group runs per week, and suggested cross-training, run & strength training workouts. The coached group run is in person, though this class can be done virtually when you miss: all info will be provided on the group run & route ahead of time so that trainees can run separately at another time if they need to.
Cost of the class is $100 as a stand-alone class. Cost is $50 if registering as an add-on to one of our winter marathon training classes. Deadline to register is 10/14/23.

Program dates: September 17, 2023 - December 3, 2023. Group training will meet on Sundays at 8:00AM and Wednesdays at 12:00PM (may move to 9:00am or 10:00am depending on trainees' schedules & preference). The class will meet on Sundays at various different trail locations throughout the Triangle area and on Wednesdays at Umstead Park (North Harrison Avenue entrance: 2100 N Harrison Avenue, Cary 27513).
