Event Description

What is plogging you may ask? It is a great way to add some fun to your run while helping the environment! What is plogging you may ask? Plogging is a fitness routine in which runners of all levels, and walkers collect litter within their jogging workout. The official definition of plogging is a blend of the Swedish phrase “plocka upp” meaning pick up and jogging.

The event will be held on April 1st in the morning. We will start behind the store in Irmo and run through the neighborhood to pick up trash. Mizuno will be there sponsoring us, AND he will have demos for each shoe we carry. Mizuno will also be giving every registrant a free hat! Teams of 2-5 will be given a trash bag and gloves. There will be prizes for the fastest and team that picks up the most trash.
