Event Description

Rangeley BiKaRu Race (formerly known as RuKaBi) - Bike 6 miles - Kayak 1.5 miles - Run 3.5 miles.  Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in each of the following categories:

Individual Categories:

• Youth (18 and under)
• Male
• Female
   

Team Categories: 

• Mixed Team:  all ages, all male or all female, or combo
• Silver Team: 60 and older
• First Responders:  Fire Departments, EMTs, Boarder Patrol, Sherriff, State Police, etc.
• Business: All team members work at the same business

Registration opens on March 31st.

• All registration and payment for the event will occur at runsignup.com with a deadline of May 26th.
• No walk-up registrations will be allowed.

Pricing:

Pre-Register by May 12th:

• $50 (one individual does Bike, Kayak & Run); $75 (for a team)

Register after May 12th:

• $75 (one individual does Bike, Kayak & Run); $100 (for a team)

Important Notes:

• Participants must provide their own bike (road bikes are not recommended for this race) and kayak.

• Registration refunds will not be issued if the race is canceled due to weather.

• Youth participants 13 and under MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT DURING EACH LEG OF THE RACE THEY PARTICIPATE IN.

Race Day Schedule: Sunday, May 28th, 2023 - 10:00 AM

• 8 am to 9 am: Drop off bikes and kayaks in the staging area.
• 9 am to 10 am: Check-in
• 10:00 am: Individual competitors start
• 10:15 am: Teams Start
