Running is a diverse sport that invites people of all backgrounds and abilities to find their love of movement. Recognizing the runners who make up our communities helps share this joy and inspire others to find their love of running.
GLIRC's Panoply of Pride 10k & 1M Walk Presented by PSEG Long Island recognizes the LGBTQ+ individuals who have always been part of our running and Long Island communities.
Join us for this celebration of PRIDE MONTH by running a NEW 10k course in Lindenhurst, OR by supporting your community, friends, family, and fellow humans with a 1 Mile Walk option!
After the run, you can keep the party rolling at Sand City South Brewery where there will be beer (for runners 21 and over), non-alcoholid beverages, plenty of food, and togetherness.
This race will support Pride for Youth, a division of the Long Island Crisis Center. Pride for Youth serves Long Island youth and helps them navigate their world through age 45!
Amenities abound - the race giveaways are still a SURPRISE as of now, but we will be asking for your shirt size during registration in the event that we offer a wearable item! Included in your regstration you will run a USATF-certified 10k course (or an unsancitoned 1 mile walk!). 10k participants will receive a finisher medal. All participants of both distances (live or virtual!) will receive the race giveaway. In-person participants will gain entrance to the Brewery after party with unlimited food and all the beer you can (safely) drink!
We are also offering under-21 and designated driver entries to the race AND for guest passes, because this was a very popular option for Mardi Gras this year!
