Event Description

400 meter Pool SWIM / 7 mile BIKE / 3.1mile RUN

*** Register by July 15 to guarantee your t-shirt and get your invitation to the practice swim!! ***

*** We will be swimming in the competition pool this year!  This is a beautiful pool.  The pool is 7' deep for the entire length, so there is no short end.  All registered participants will receive an invitation to participate in a practice swim the Saturday before the race. ***

Reminder that athletes will enter the pool by swim time (shortest to longest) to help manage congestion. Please be as accurate as possible with your swim time; you will have an opportunity to adjust your swim time closer to race day.  It is acceptable to stop and hold the side or the rope, to stop and rest at each end, and to use a snorkel.  If you feel you will stop during the swim, please factor that into your swim time. There will be lifeguards and volunteers around the pool.  The practice swim will be a great opportunity to determine an appropriate time!

The 43nd Annual Huntsville Sprint Triathlon is presented by Edward Jones.

This sprint distance triathlon will be held IN PERSON on Saturday, August 5, 2023.

Race start time is 7:30am.

Athletes will be seeded according to your reported swim time. 

Registration will close Sunday July 30, 2023.

Your finisher swag consists of a super cool, soft, lightweight t-shirt. This will be picked up on site after you finish the run.

Race proceeds will be donated to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation on behalf of Coach Rick Grief.
