Join us on Saturday, June 3rd, for the Strawberry Strut 5 Mile Run, 5k Run, 5k Walk, and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.
Race Day Start Times:
- 5-Mile Run 8:15 AM
- 5k Walk 8:30 AM
- 5k Run 8:40 AM
- 1-Mile Walk/Run 8:45 AM
Race Day Registration will take place from 7:00 a.m. - 7:45 a.m.
All race packets must be picked up by 7:45 a.m. on Race Day.
All 5-mile and 5k participants who are registered by May 16th will receive a T-Shirt. Those who register after May 16th will NOT receive a T-Shirt. 1 Mile participants have the option to purchase a shirt for $15 during the registration process by May 16th.
Age Groups 5 Mile Run - Male and Female
13 and under; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over
1 Mile Fun Run
Ribbons: Top 2 Male/Female for every age from 5-12 years of age
Plaque: First Male/Female finisher
Net Proceeds will be donated to Hancock County Fights Cancer.

The 5k and the 5 mile each start at the north side of the courthouse and make 1 1/4 laps around the square then head south on Madison St. to cherry St. Head west on Cherry one block to Marion St. then north on Marion one block to Wabash Ave. West on Wabash to Main St. Turn west on Main St. to West St. At this point, the 5 milers head north on West while the 5k runners continue west on Main St. almost to US Hwy 136 then turn around. The 5k folks then retrace their steps back to Wabash where it is a straight shot to the finish line at the corner of Wabash and S. Madison
The 5 mile course turns north on West St. at Main to US Hwy 136. Cross 136 then head west to the entrance to Jaycee Park. Then the fun begins! follow the lake road past the golf course and then up the infamous dump hill. Follow this road to Fayette St. Turn south on Fayette to Wabash St. then turn east on Wabash to the finish.
