Event Description
Kick off 4th of July with this fun, festive patriotic event! It’s the Signarama Firecracker 5K the morning of July 4th at the McConnell Arboretum at Turtle Bay Exploration Park. This is a great way to celebrate our community, family and America! The fun starts at 8 AM with a Red, White and Blue opening ceremony featuring the Pledge of Allegiance and the Star Spangled Banner. Then a Little Sparkler’s ¼ mile Run/Walk then a 5K Run/Walk and then live music, full pancake breakfast even a Michelob Ultra Beer Garden. The flag lined course will be just the inspiration you’ll need to make it to the finish line. So, this 4th of July before you fire up the BBQ and watch the fireworks show, gather all your friends and family and celebrate America at the Signarama Firecracker 5K!

A portion of the proceeds will benefit: The Northern California Veterans Museum, Homeward Bound Military Family Support Services, and Preston Sharp (flags).
Please park in the Redding Civic Auditorium or the Turtle Bay Museum parking lots only.
