Event Description
Paces for PAWS is a dog friendly event so please bring your best canine companions to participate in the festivities (don't forget leashes, please)! With this event, we hope to provide an opportunity for people of all ages in our community to help homeless and abandoned animals receive the medical care, shelter, and companionship they need until their forever homes are found.
This event is one of five events in the RunBelfast 2023 race series held in Belfast, Maine (more at https://www.runbelfast.org). The series includes: Paces for PAWS 5K - Jun 3; Center for Wildlife Studies Run Wild! 5K - Jul 22; Rotary Bug Run 5K - August 19; YMCA Cross Country 5K - September ??; and Lions Ghostly Gallop - October 28. RunBelfast is grateful for the support provided by City of Belfast Parks and Recreation Department.

Where: Rail Trail, Train Depot terminus (13 Oak Hill Rd, Belfast, ME 04915)
Registration: 0800 am
Start times for both run/walk and walk: 0830 am
** Parking lot is available **
If you bring your dog, it must be on a 6-foot non-retractable leash; also you must have proof of rabies vaccination and town registration.
Poop bags and water are also a must bring.
