Event Description

The INFERNO Fatherhood 5k Fun Run and Walk is for all individuals, families and pets! Join us for this day dedicated to fathers and their families at Fox Run Regional park located in Larkspur Colorado. When arriving for the event, please go to Pavilions #1 and #3. The event takes place on June 17, 2023 and begins at 10 a.m. 

There will also be plenty of games for the kids and families who do not wish to walk/run or to do during or after the run/walk. A potluck is also being held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. All proceeds go to Father-Son and Father-Daughter events provided by INFERNO Men - A Catholic Christian ministry to men and their families in the Diocese of Colorado Springs.

When signing UP:

For individual adults, (18 years and older) please sign up as many individuals as you would like -- $30 per adult. Children under 7 years of age are FREE and may walk\run as permitted by and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

For children and youth, ages 7 to 18 years old, registration is $15 per child or youth. Children under 7 years of age are FREE and may walk\run as permitted by and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Pets are FREE but must be on a leash with a responsible party and all waste must be picked up by owner and disposed of properly.

For families of 4 or more registration is $80, which is any combination of adults and those over 7 years old. ONCE Again, children under 7 years old are FREE and may walk/run as long as they are permitted by and accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Please register THE MAIN Parent or Guardian for FAMILIES ONLY. Only ONE Registrant is needed for families. Please bring either your printed or via email registration receipt to the registration table at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the run/walk. 

Any and ALL participants in the Run/Walk must sign the Inferno 5k Waiver or have a waiver signed for them if they are under 18 years old. No participants can walk/run without a signed waiver regardless of age.

Your registration cost covers the event and a FREE event T-Shirt. Additional family T-Shirts are being sponsored by our gracious sponsors listed on the back of the T-Shirt and listed here as we receive them. 

SPONSOR a RUNNER/WALKER by using our Donation Button; use the "on behalf of OTHER" button to designate your runner/walker. YOU may also DONATE and get friends and family to sponsor your walk! Ask them for $1 a mile or $5 a mile or kilometer, so $5 per kilometer would be $25. Your friends and family can simply click on the FIND A PARTICIPANT to locate the specific runner/walker and then DONATE to your runner/walker using the "on behalf of OTHER" button under DONATE. Your donation will be linked to that participant. We are hoping that this event, like any other run/walk, will help us to raise needed funds to provide valuable programs for our Diocese and each individual parish where Inferno is present! Let's start a NEW Chapter, a New COR, by spreading the grace of the Holy Spirit. Three prizes, first, second and third, will be given to the individuals or families that raise the MOST (top three) sponsors or donations for this event.
