What : A distance challenge for kids, adults, partners, and relays!

Where : Canyon Vista Middle School

When : 7-8pm adults race, 6:30 kids race

Why : Raise money to help sunset food injustice in Austin.

Details

Join us at Canyon Vista Middle School track as we run to sunset food injustice in Austin. Grab a partner, a team (4 person relays encouraged!), or go solo to see just how many laps you can run in 60 minutes. Our main event is Friday, July 7, from 7-8pm, with a kids 10-minute challenge at 6:30.

Your race entry includes your bib, a swag bag of goodies provided by our amazing sponsors, on site activities (face painting!) and snacks, a finisher award, and an evening of festivities as we take over the track. It’ll be a party!

Prizes awarded for top 3 men, women, and nonbinary in our adult race (high school, adult, and masters categories), as well as top partner/relay participants. Finisher awards for kids race based on # laps completed (special prize for 1 mile finishers!).

The best part? All money raised goes towards our Sunday Lunchbox mission of bringing nourishing and community inspired food to families facing food insecurity in Austin. You’ll even get to meet some of our Lunchbox volunteers and partners at the event, learn about our program, and find details about getting more involved.
