Event Description

Please join Project 8p Foundation for our second annual 8,000 Steps for 8p. A virtual walk, run, stride, or ride race! 

8,000 Steps for 8p, or 3.5 miles, is a virtual awareness and fundraising event you can complete with friends and family. This year we are excited to announce two participation options:

Virtual Race - Calling all runners, this ticket is for you! Raise awareness and gain your own bragging rights! (Ticket includes t-shirt & medallion).

Virtual Walk-A-Thon - Our inclusive ticket option. No rules. Have fun and support 8p heroes! (T-shirt can be purchased for additional fee).

Project 8p Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is researching 8p disorders to find treatment options and give meaningful answers to those affected and their families. Our mission is to empower a unified community for chromosome 8p heroes for a meaningful life today while accelerating treatments for tomorrow.
