A little about the agency and cause you'll be supporting ...

Family Services of North Alabama provides services in two areas: Victim Services & Prevention and Workforce Development & Education.  We serve a total of six counties in various capacities. 

Under our Victim Services & Prevention and Workforce Development & Education programs, Family Services of North Alabama offers a variety of services:

• Victim Services -- Provides advocacy, therapy for victims/survivors of sexual assault and human trafficking, prevention strategies, and performs forensic exams.
• Internet Safety (iSafety) -- Provides education for students and parents on online grooming and online pedophilia.
• Family & Career -- Serves parents/relative custodials and assists in finding jobs and furthering education.
• Workforce Development -- Assists Food Stamp recipients in entering the workforce, aids in furthering education, and takes a wholistic approach to families in an effort to strengthen the family unit.

RACE DETAILS:

The 5k course is certified and is a beautiful run next to the lake.  Race begins at 6:00 p.m. and tacos & beer for the after party!  A water station will be located at the halfway mark.

Late Registration and Packet Pickup:

Participants can pick up their packet at the race location on Friday, May 3rd from 4:00-5:00 or on race day from 4:00-5:30. 

Awards:

Taco Trot 5k Night Run trophies will be awarded during the after party to the top male and female overall.

Taco Trot 5k Night Run medals will be awarded during the after party to male and female winners for ages 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.

Shirts:

All registrants choosing the Taco Trot package will receive a Taco Trot 5k Night Run shirt.  

**IN ORDER TO GUARANTEE A SHIRT, ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED BY MONDAY, APRIL 22nd.**

Tacos & Beer:

All registrants choosing the Taco Trot Package will receive one taco and one beer.  All participants under 21 can choose between a soda or water.
