Event Description
The Virtual Repeat is a 3 week virtual challenge starting on June 9th which commemorates the Freedom Riders in 1961, the Selma to Montgomery march in 1965, and the assassination of Dr Martin Luther King in 1968. Virtual runners, walkers, and cyclists will have the opportunity to pay tribute and earn the exclusive medal(s) that represents each of these events that were a significant part of the Civil Rights Movement. Participants will be able to walk, jog, run, or cycle up to 100 miles to commemorate these historical events. (Please note that medals may be added at an additional cost per medal.)
*All mileage will go towards our 1 Million Miles for Justice Initiative.
**There is a minimum of 1 mile for this challenge.
***All proceeds and donations will go towards the maintenance and expansion of the Civil Rights Race Series.
