Event Description

Hello, my name is Keandre Alexander and I'm a senior at North Smithfield High School! For my senior project, I am hosting a one-mile color run/walk at the North Smithfield High School parking lot to raise money for Special Olympics! Participants run or walk a mile (or as loops they want) while volunteers throw colored powder as participants go by. There will also be multiple fun activities while the event is active! All ages are encouraged to participate!

For the past two years, I have been dedicated to unified sports and programs and absolutely love being a part of them. Helping the kids on the unified teams and making so many new friends has changed my life. For college, I'll be going Wheaton in Massachusetts and I'll be majoring in psychology. Working with the unified crew made me realize how much I like psychology.
