Join us in Downtown Columbus at Genoa Park on Saturday, October 21, 2023, for the inaugural Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness 5K benefiting Nationwide Children's Hospital.

About the Event

October is Pregnancy, Infant, and Child Loss Awareness Month, and in remembrance, the Timmy’s Kids fundraiser within the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation is holding this community event to honor the memory of our departed little ones. Timmy’s Kids is named after Timothy Matthew Stang, who passed away shortly after birth due to a neural tube defect.
 
Timmy’s Kids would like to allocate race proceeds to create a butterfly suite at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, which would serve as a dedicated space for grieving families. This suite would be provisioned with everything that such families need, including cuddle cots. This concept has been implemented at other hospitals within the state of Ohio but is not yet available at Nationwide Children’s.
 
Timothy's life, like that of all children, was important and we seek to honor his memory through this 5K event. On behalf of the patients and families of Nationwide Children's Hospital, thank you for your support!
