Event Description

Continued violence and racial injustice in the United States has caused the entire world to aim a spotlight on the global issue of systemic discrimination and the inequities that follow. As a response, Nox Health, the parent company of Nox Medical, SleepCharge and FusionSleep, formed an employee Culture Committee in 2020 to brainstorm ideas and develop tangible actions that our organization can take to stand against institutional racism and to advocate for the individuals or groups in our community who, we believe, align with these universal values.

In 2021, we held the first-ever Nox Health Race for Change 5K. In the past two years, our Race for Change 5K has raised over $12,000 for local charities.

Today, we are still working to create the community that we envisioned. As a healthcare company, we have a vested interest in eliminating healthcare disparities and assisting 
entities working towards the same goal. As we strive for an environment of anti-racism and anti-discrimination internally, we are also making our voices heard externally. This year, the Nox Health Race for Change will once again support the Center for Black Women’s Wellness in Atlanta.

These organizations work to eliminate inequities by providing resources, both physically and mentally, to the underserved populations in the communities where we have offices. Our 2023 goal is to raise $8,000.
