Event Description

Looking for something fun to do with your friends and family? Then, look no further. Cherries and Berries Color Run 5K is a family fun Color Run hosted by the Putnam County Fraternal Order of Police (FOP). This 5k event is not timed and is open to all ages and abilities and will be a completely paved route. There will be multiple color stations on the race route to provide a unique color experience for all participants and memories to last a lifetime.

The 5K will begin and end at Deer Meadow Primary School in Greencastle, Indiana. Registered participants will receive a t-shirt. Children ages 7 and under do not have to register for the event and can participate for free. Only registered participants will receive an event t-shirt. The cut off for receiving a t-shirt is July 30, 2024, so be sure to register in time!

Join us at the starting line and feel free to come in full color gear to support our local law enforcement.

Packet pick up will be Friday, August 9, 2024, from 5-7pm at Greencastle City Hall, 1 North Locust Street, Greencastle, IN 46135. Race packet is available the day of the race from 8:00-8:45am.

All proceeds go to the Putnam County FOP to continue events in the community such as Shop with a Cop, the free Christmas event at the courthouse and Santa Drop, as well as continued education and training for our local police.

This year we are partnering with local agencies to continue Coats for Kids. The local event has changed hands, and we want to show our support in a coat drive to ensure children are able to have coats for the unpredictable weather. Please bring a new, or gently used coat to the event to receive a special token of our appreciation.

Same day registration will be available.
