Hello Runners & Welcome!

The Run for the Roost 5k is ready for all you chickens, roosters  and hens to take on. The course has been revamped this year with a flat, quick PR course that starts and ends at the London Farmers Market on Race Day. A full race map is coming soon.

Swag? We got it! Hoodies and swag bags for all registered participants that register no later than Friday, September 8th, 2023 at midnight. Merch is not guaranteed for later registrations, we will divvy them out while supplies last.

The race will take place on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 with a gun time of 8am. Join us early for pre-race treats, and jams at the start line. We know how y'all like to rock.

This year's race benefit goes to The American Childhood Cancer Organization. After all September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and we encourage all participants and volunteers to wear your yellow ribbon to support the cause. These can also be purchased at packet pick up line as well.

Our co-host Lori Hammack knows all about battling childhood cancer. Her son Brody was diagnosed with ALL at 2 years old, however we are more than happy to report that he is a SURVIVOR and its thanks to organizations like ACCO that receive funding to perform the necessary research to find cures and treatments for cases like Brody and others.

The American Childhood Cancer Organization or "ACCO" has been everything kids for more than 50 years!

The American Childhood Cancer Organization (ACCO) was founded in 1970 by parents of children diagnosed with cancer. Formerly known as Candlelighters, ACCO is the nation’s oldest and largest grassroots organization dedicated to childhood cancer.

Did you know childhood cancer is the number one disease killer of children and is the leading cause of death for children between the ages of 4 and 14 in the United States? ACCO is determined to change these statistics and make childhood cancer a national health priority by shaping policy, supporting research, raising awareness, and providing educational resources and programs to children with cancer, childhood cancer survivors, and their families.

Over the past 50 years, ACCO has supported more than half a million families because kids can’t fight cancer alone®.

Registration is Open and we hope that you will join us for a fun day raising money for a great cause.
