Event Description
Run your best marathon ever this fall! Join our training group, and get your customized plan from John's Run/Walk Shop's RRCA-certified coaches.
Flexible plan: Run with us on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, run on your own, or run a combination that works best for you.
Benefit from up to daily check-ins with coaches, available in-person on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Training Overview:
Phase I: Aerobic Base, Economy Stimulus (Strides, Hill Sprints, Short Intervals)
Phase II: Developing Speed and Strength (VO2Max, Critical Velocity Intervals)
Phase III: Full/Half Marathon Race Focus (Tempo, Lactate Threshold, Marathon Race Pace Intervals)
Phase IV: Race Taper and Sharpen
