Event Description

Travel through six ecosystems at Maywood on this 3-mile trail walk at Maywood. Along the way you'll find information stations about the each area as well as historical photos celebrating our 40th Anniversary. Enjoy fun trail names, optional challenge stations, and lunch at the end. A shorter prairie  walk loop will also be available. Walk on Sunday, September 17 anytime between 10 am and 1pm. This walk is not timed and encourages you to enjoy nature along the way.

Proceeds of the Walk on the Wild Side help Maywood provide environmental education programs and help build park improvements.
