Welcome to Steel City NROTC's 1st annual LTCol Raible 5k and 10k race!

Registration includes light snacks and food provided at the finish line festivities. There will be prizes for first, second and third in the 5k and 10k.

LtCol Raible is a Carnegie Mellon University and Steel City NROTC alumni who lost his life while leading his Marines into combat against 15 insurgents in Camp Bastion, Afghanistan. It is because of his quick thinking and disregard for his own safety that the troops of Camp Bastion were able to eliminate the threat before they could attack more personnel and equipment. While two sentences cannot fully capture the magnitude of LtCol Raible's actions, we would like to express our utmost respect by hosting an event on CMU's campus to memorialize and celebrate his life.
