2017 RACE RULES
ENTRY RULES
Once your registration is submitted, NO REFUNDS will be given if you cannot participate. Illness, injury and family emergencies are not exceptions. Deadline for Transfers (to another race category or to another participant) will be April 1, 2017. The race(s) take place rain or shine.

To change your race registration or transfer your registration to another person, please start that process on your Race Roster account prior to April 1, 2017. We offer online registration only. Late registration and packet pick-up takes place at The SLO Life Festival on Friday, April 28 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday morning, April 29 from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m (5k, Children's Races) and 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Marathon and Half) and Sunday, April 30 from 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.. Late registration is on a first come, first serve basis with no guarantee of shirt included.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We adhere to the standard running industry policy. All registration fees are non-refundable. You may not give or sell your number to another individual unless you transfer your registration to that person online prior to April 1, 2017 – if you do not go through the proper channels, this could result in your disqualification as well as the runner who uses your race number. The entry fee for this year’s event will NOT transfer to next year’s event, no exceptions. This policy stays in effect whether you are injured, have unexpected business or family emergency, pregnancy, etc. There are NO exceptions.
CHANGE REQUEST
Runners may request an event change based on event availability. Should one of the races sell out, there will be no more change requests accepted. You may change your race or transfer your registration to another person, starting at your Race Roster account.
CHALLENGED ATHLETES
If you are a Challenged Athlete, The SLO Marathon, Half + 5K welcomes you! If you need special accommodations, please contact us at customerservice@raceslo.com at the same time as your registration to ensure we can provide for your needs.
Your online registration confirmation will be sent via e-mail from RaceRoster.com. If you have spam filters and/or firewalls in place, SLO Marathon management cannot guarantee receipt of confirmation.
