We are the Texas Brewery Running Series™ and we run for beer!
See you at the Freetail Brewing's South Presa Taproom on Saturday, October 28 for the Second Annual Boos & Brews 5K - run run starts from the taproom at 11AM.
Get in the Halloween spirit a few days early, and run, walk, jog, even stumble like a zombie. Complete the course and celebrate with us - enjoy a FREE craft brew from Freetail!
We've mapped out a 5k-ish course along the Mission Reach of the River Walk that starts and ends at Freetail's South Presa Taproom in downtown San Antonio. All ages, all levels are welcome. Costumes are encouraged!
Cross the finish line and celebrate! All participants receive:
- A craft brew at the finish line from Freetail Brewing Company
- Choice of a collector’s pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series
- A chance to win sweet door prizes, like Brewery Running Series merchandise or beer to take home
- Access to event festivities like a costume contest, music, games, goodies and giveaways
- And more!
Our mission is to be active, have fun and give back to our local community. A portion of all proceeds from our events support local nonprofits - nationwide we have raised over $460k to date! This event will add to that tally, with 10% of all proceeds with be donated to San Antonio Food Bank, so not only do you get be active and enjoy great craft beer, you are you are helping us a support local organization that does important work in our community. We are also hosting a food drive and every item of non-perishable food you bring to donate earns you a ticket for our Hunger Fighters Raffle.
