Event Description

Join us for our 9th annual 22K Hike/Ruck on Saturday September 30th. This year's event will be held at the VFW on Main St. 

Registration begins at 10am. Hike/Ruck begins at 11am

Cost: FREE for all attendees

VFW bar will be open to the public for food and drink.

Fort Wayne 22, Inc. is organized to facilitate community involvement in the support and assistance of Veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) while simultaneously educating on suicide prevention and mental illness.  The organization was established June 2014 by two local Marines, Jarred White and Tyler Egbert, in response to the Veteran suicide epidemic.  Both men felt compelled to take action and promote change within their local communities by creating an annual event representing the 20 plus Veterans that take their own lives everyday due to unresolved mental health ailments.
