Event Description

AnMed Cannon is proud to announce they will be hosting both a 5k run/walk and a 1 mile fun run at the AnMed Pavilion at the Pickens Doodle Park. This will be a community event you won't want to miss. The 1 mile run will be geared towards the youth in the community and will be out and back on the Doodle Trail. The 5k will be held on a certified course and overall and age group awards will be handed out following the race. All participants in either event will receive finisher medals.

The 1 mile race will start promptly at 8:55am. The 5k race will start promptly at 9:00am. Award ceremony should be around 10:15am after the last runner has completed the course. Awards will be 3 deep for overall M/F and Masters M/F. Age group awards will be given at 10 year intervals.

Packet Pick-up will be under the shelter at the Doodle Park in Pickens on Friday 10/20/23 from 4:00pm-6:00pm. and race morning from 7:30am-8:45am.

All runners who register by 10/10/23 will receive a tee shirt. After 10/10/23  tee shirts will not be available.

Parking is available on E. Cedar Rock St and at City Works on Railroad St
