Join our 5k Walk/Run and 1/2 Mile Fun Run to benefit Taylyn Healey and Hazel Johnson!

In 2022, Hazel Johnson (8) and Taylyn Healey (9) contracted Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP, also known as IgA vasculitis), a disease that causes the small blood vessels in their skin, joints, intestines and kidneys to become inflamed and bleed. Both girls have had serious cases of the disease, and Taylyn has already had to have her kidneys removed from her body. Both girls face dialysis and kidney transplants in their future. 

This charity event will give 100% of the proceeds to the Healey and Johnson families to help with medical bills. These girls are such bright spots in our community--a singer and a dancer--and they deserve the very best care and help in combatting this disease.

As always, Karlberg Racing tries our best to provide a FUN atmosphere and a great race! In order to give both families the greatest amount of proceeds, we will not have chip timing or sweet swag unless donated by the community. To race it'll only be a $5 donation for the 5k or the fun run, but we encourage you to donate more if you are able.
