Event Description
The Village Virtual 5K & Member Appreciation Event is an event presented by the Paulding Education Foundation (PEF).
This event is aimed to bring students, staff, and leaders of Paulding County Schools, their families, and community members together to engage in fun, healthy, family-oriented activities. The Village Virtual 5K & Member Appreciation Event offers a unique event experience for it will also feature a concert, kids play area, and food vendors.
Check out some of its highlights below:
- The Village 5K & Family Fun Run: Enjoy a family fun activity that promotes a healthier lifestyle, whether choosing to run to qualify for the AJC Peachtree Road Race, go for a nice walk or jog, or simply have fun along the 5K path.
- Concert Village: Get your ears and good vibes ready for the melodic tunes of the local live band COCOMOTION. This band will entertain participants once the race is over with music from the 70s to hits of today.
- Kids Play Village: Bounce houses, obstacle courses, and a playground sounds like a good time bound to happen once the family fun run is done. There will be kids play activities for all ages to engage in before heading home.
- Food Truck Village: We will have food trucks onsite to take your pick from with both meal and dessert. As a special thank you, the Foundation will be providing meal tickets for all registered members plus one other provided by Cheese Burger Bobby’s. Not a member yet, you can join today!.
In conjunction with the mission and purpose of PEF, this event seeks to raise funds to expand learning opportunities, resources, and tools for students, teachers, and staff within the Paulding County School District (PCSD). The PCSD is a public school district in Paulding County, Georgia, United States, based in Dallas. It serves the communities of Braswell, Dallas, and Hiram.
