Welcome to The Brick Companies' Zombie Dash 5k, Kids Fun Run and Inflatable Costume Mad Dash!
Get ready for a fun-filled day perfect for the entire family featuring:

Bring your friends and family out to The Brick Companies Zombie Dash 5k & Kids Fun Run. A fun and festive event for all ages and abilities while supporting a great cause – all proceeds benefit the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC).

What to Expect at the TBC Zombie Dash 5k & Kids Fun Run:
8:00 am - Registration and bib pick-up opens
10:00 am - Zombie Dash 5k starts
11:00 am - Kids Fun Run
11:30 am - Inflatable Costume Mad Dash (untimed Fun Run)
11:40 am - Awards for Zombie Dash 5k - top 3 overall (timed from gun start)

Race Bib Pick-Up:
Friday, October 27 | 3pm - 6pm @ The Brick Companies, 3168 Braverton Street, Edgewater
Sunday, October 29 | 8am @ Race Site, SERC
Skele-bration Zone:
Expect lots of tricks and treats in the Skele-bration Zone! 💀 There will be something for everyone. Trick or treating, face painting, games and pumpkin decorating 🎃 for the kids. Great food 🍕 and beverage 🍺 options from local vendors, such as Timber Pizza and incredible homemade baked goods. This event provides a great opportunity to come together to celebrate the spirit of community while raising money for a local cause.
Inflatable Costume Mad Dash:
Step into your favorite inflatable costume and wobble, we mean make a mad dash to the finish line. All participants of the inflatable costume mad dash must be registered and sign a waiver of liability. This is a free fun run and will not be timed. The distance is 200 yards.

A true hidden gem, the 2,650-acre environmental research and educational facility operated by the Smithsonian Institution is located on the Rhode and West Rivers near Edgewater in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. - Running strollers are permitted in the 5k.
- Pets are NOT permitted on the SERC property.
- There will be NO zombies as part of the kids' fun run.
- All participants must be registered and complete a waiver of liability.
