Jumping jingle bells! It's time for The Center for Women's 18th Annual 5k Run/Walk is on December 2, 2023 at 9:00AM.
LOCATION CHANGE this year to First Baptist Church, 94 S Gaston Street, Brevard.
Early bird egistration is $30.00 for age 18 and over before 11/26/2023. After that, it is $35.00. Early bird registration for ages 12-17 is $25.00 before 11/26/2023. After that, it is $30.00. Early bird registration for ages 11 to 7 is $20.00 until 11/26/2023. After that, it is $25.00. Ages 6 and under are free. Call for Family discount of $80.00 for 4. Call for larger group discounts.
NEW this year is a costume contest! Sport your best Christmas spirit! One award each will be give to the best dressed in adult catergory (over 18) and child category (under 18).
This event is hosted by The Center for Women. Our goal is to bring awareness to the community and to raise money to continue providing free services including pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, counseling and more. All proceeds from this event benefit the families in Transylvania County,
The race begins downtown at 9:00 on E. Morgan Street besides First Baptist Church. It turns right on to Gaston Street. Left on Maple Street taking a slight right to Jordan Rd., crossing over Gallimore Rd. to Sugarloaf Rd. You will turn around at the designated spot, cross back over Gallimore Rd. to Jordan Rd. taking a left on Batson Street, taking a right Maple Street, right on to Gaston Street and a left on E Morgan Street.
Awards for overall M/F finishers; Top three Male/Female in age groups 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 & over.
Participation medals will be awarded to all children under 10 who do not receive 1st, 2nd or 3rd place.

Parking will be available at The Center for Women, 134 S Johnson Street, Brevard, First Baptist Church, 94 S. Gaston Street, Brevard and the Department of Social Services employee parking lot on South Johnson Street.
Dress appropiate for the weather.

7:30 am On-site registration and check-in for registered runners and walkers inside First Baptist Church's foyer. Follow the signs and greeters will be outside for assistance.
8:30 am Check-in & on-site registration ends.
9:00 am Race starts!
Packet pick up will be handed out the morning of the race.
Homemade baked goods, coffee, water and refreshments will be available.
Don't forget to bring your signed waiver, if you have not signed it online.
