Event Description

Since 2008, the Lexington High School Cross Country / Track & Field program has hosted an “Alumni Race” on the same nearly all-road course the team has called home since 1970. This year, in the interest of sharing the sport we love with the larger community, the Cross Country / Track & Field team has partnered with the LHS Wrestling team to host the race. Our teams are excited to welcome the running community to The First Annual LexGiving 5k Run/Walk the morning after Thanksgiving on Friday, November 24th at 9am. All proceeds will go to the LHS Cross Country and Wrestling teams.

Entry Fees

• Pre-Registration Race Fee: $35 
• Day of Event Race Fee: $40
• Students & Seniors: $25
• Town of Lexington Employees & First Responders: $25

Event Swag

• The first 200 participants to register will receive an official LexGiving 5k T-shirt
• Race T-shirts will also available for sale on race day for $20
• All participants will receive a raffle ticket at packet pick for prizes to be raffled off at the conclusion of the race

• Male winner
• Female winner
• Top LHS alumni male
• Top LHS alumni female
• Age group awards will be issued to the top male and female finishers in the following categories:
  • 11 and under
  • 12-14 years old
  • 15-19 years old
  • 20-29 years old
  • 30-39 years old
  • 40-49 years old
  • 50-59 years old
  • 60 and over

• Photos will be taken throughout the race
• All race day photos will be published and available to the public for FREE on our website at the completion of the event

Strollers are welcome in the race, lined up at the back of the starting pack to avoid collisions.
