Event Description

Downtown Dash and Dine Reindeer Run 3K is a fundraiser to benefit Satilla Advocacy Services. The funds raised will be donated to this organization and in memory of Cindy Tanner. 

Satilla Health Foundation, Inc. dba Satilla Advocacy Services (SAS) is a 501c3 non-profit organization formed in 1998, servicing six counties in the Waycross Judicial Circuit including Bacon, Brantley, Charlton, Coffee, Pierce, and Ware counties. SAS is a dual child advocacy and sexual assault center that provide services for child and adult victims of sexual assault and physical abuse. All services provided by SAS are free of charge.

Join us for a dash through Downtown Waycross and chase Dasher, the reindeer through town! The 3K and one-mile fun run will start and finish in front of the Phoenix Hotel, 215 Pendleton Street. There will be food trucks set up before, during, and after the races for participants and others to enjoy as well as a DJ. Also, there will be a prize for the best dressed Christmas runner!

3K Awards: Best dressed, first overall male and female finishers, First male and female masters 40 and up, first male and female overall finishers in age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & up.

T-shirts are guaranteed to all 3K runners registered by November 17, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. There will be limited t-shirts available on race day.
